Fifth Wrestler Qualifies For Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament On 4/29 AEW Rampage

Another name has qualified for the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

On the April 29 episode of AEW Rampage, Swerve Strickland and Darby Allin fought for a spot in the inaugural tournament. The winner would be just the fifth person to qualify, joining Dax Harwood, Samoa Joe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Adam Cole.

Towards the end of the bout, Ricky Starks would try to get involved and cost Swerve the match but was backed away by Sting. Back in the ring, Darby was able to roll into a pin on an ankle pick and score the win. Starks celebrated more than anyone after the bell and could be heard shouting that it all unfolded according to plan.

Both the Men’s and Women’s Tournaments are set to conclude on May 29 at AEW Double or Nothing. To view the updated card for that event, click here.
