Exclusive: Shane Taylor Says Helping Cody And Bullet Club Were The Most Fun He’s Had As Hired Gun

Ring Of Honor is headed for the Lonestar state this weekend, and their cameras are rolling.

With ROH’s HonorClub service launching this weekend, events that were once house shows now have the lights on bright, and are broadcast to their fans. When Fightful.com had the opportunity to speak to mainstay Shane Taylor, he told us that their roster has adapted exceptionally.

“It prepares you for everything. You can’t prepare yourself for one style, and can’t be one dimensional. You have to be on your game at all times. There’s no hiding behind ‘this is a house show, you can do this or that.’ Everybody is watching everything right now. The red light is on all the time. It’s on us to step our game up, and we’ve done good job at that,” said Taylor.

The hired gun of ROH, Shane Taylor offers his violent services to the highest bidder, sometimes against those who have contracted him in the past. While “fun” doesn’t seem like a subject Shane Taylor is well versed in, he told me that his experience with Bullet Club has been positive thus far. He was quick to note that he faces one of the head figures of Bullet Club this weekend, and that fun will cease.

“Probably so far it’d have to be Cody and The Bullet Club. When those guys get in there, it’s as much fun as it looks like it is. They love what they do. I had a great time when I was out there with them. Ironically when we get to Saturday’s show, it’s going to be me vs. Cody, so that might not be so much fun for him” said Taylor.
