Eva Marie Set To Return Soon

Eva Marie should make her return to WWE television soon.

The website wrestlingnews.co reported that Eva Marie completed filming her scenes for the movie Inconceivable, which stars Nicolas Cage and Faye Dunaway, on Monday.

Eva Marie has not appeared on WWE TV since August, when she was suspended for 30 days for violating the company wellness policy. That forced her to be removed from the six-woman tag match at Summerslam, and she was replaced in the match by Nikki Bella. TMZ Sports reported that Eva Marie tested positive for Adderall, which is used to treat ADD and ADHD.

After the suspension expired, Eva Marie stayed off WWE television while shooting the upcoming season of Total Divas and this movie role.

In her appearances on Smackdown before the suspension, Eva Marie was playing a heel role who found a different excuse not to wrestle every week. In fact, even before being suspended, Eva Marie never stepped foot in the ring as a competitor for Smackdown. In fact, her last televised match for WWE was back in May, in a contest taped for Main Event. She made her WrestleMania debut earlier this year, as part of a 10-diva tag match on the pre-show.

Deadline reported Eva Marie's casting for the movie. The film, which is produced by Seven Bucks Productions, a company founded by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his girlfriend, Dany Garcia, is in post-production and due for release sometime in 2017.

Eva Marie signed with WWE in 2013 and, since 2014, has bounced back and forth between the main roster and the developmental program in Florida.
