Ethan Page: There Is A Photo In Our Tron Video That My Three-Year-Old Daughter Took
Ethan Page loves teaming with Scorpio Sky.
Since his debut in AEW back at March’s Revolution event, “All Ego” has gone on to form a partnership with former SCU member, Scorpio Sky. No stranger to tag team wrestling, Page spoke on the AEW Unrestricted podcast about what differentiates AEW’s division from that of other promotions.
“Honestly, I think it’s the fact that they put such a big focus on it,” Page began by saying. “There’s so many teams, and groups, and relationships that on-screen talent have with each other [that] it makes a lot of the stories a lot deeper too and connected. Match options are insane. So, I think definitely the focus and care and love that gets put into putting these teams together.”
He continued, praising Tony Khan for his vision and intuition for pairing wrestlers together.
“I haven’t been here long enough to comprehend Tony’s mind, but he has a way of pairing people together — to be completely honest, if someone said, ‘Hey, you and Scorpio Sky are going to be a team.’ I would have been like, ‘Huh, that’s interesting.’ I didn’t [understand it] either, and now it’s my favorite thing. I can’t even explain the chemistry we have. It works, and that was all Tony. It was presented to us, both of us were like, ‘Yeah, we talk to each other, but we’re not friends.’ Now, best friends. Best chemistry. It’s the perfect match. So, all credit to Tony Khan for that. Look at The Acclaimed, they’re incredible as well. The love and care that goes into tag team wrestling and then Tony’s genius, I guess,” Page said.
Over the moon about his relationship with Scorpio Sky, All Ego says that they compliment each other perfectly in almost every way. He said the following:
“You know what, there’s a natural bromance on camera and off camera. It just works. Even our fashion complements each other. The way we speak on camera complements each other. The way we wrestle complements each other. We’re so different but so similar. You can tell how happy I am just talking about it. It just works. I can’t explain it, it’s just one of those magical pairings and I can’t wait to see what more we do with the team.”
Lastly, in regards to their ‘Men of the Year’ entrance video, Ethan Page revealed that one of the photos was taken by his three-year-old daughter.
“I need to add this because this needs to be a well-known factoid, there is a photo in our tron video that my daughter took,” he said. “My three-year-old daughter has a televised, published photograph in a worldwide wrestling company, so she’s got a good jumpstart in her career [laughs].”
AEW returns to touring this Wednesday, July 7th, with a special ‘Road Rager’ edition of Dynamite. On that show, Ethan Page is scheduled to face Darby Allin in a Coffin Match. Fightful will have live coverage of the show on the day beginning at 5 p.m. PST.
