Ethan Page Says He Recently Agented A Match, Wants To Have Long AEW Career
Ethan Page does some behind the scenes work with AEW.
Page has gotten more screen time on AEW television since he aligned with Stokely Hathaway as part of The Firm, MJF’s stable on retainer. Off-screen, Page has helped build his brand through his toy hunt vlogs.
He’s also chipped in backstage at AEW to add to his toolbox.
“I would say the potential is unlimited. And I don’t just mean on-screen. I mean behind the scenes, too,” he told Daily Hive. “I’ve recently gotten to agent a match, put the headset on and get to do that live. That was an experience that I hope to be able to do again. I love writing. I love being creative. So I hope I have the longest career humanly possible at AEW and not just on-screen.”
Page recently picked up a victory over Danhausen on the September 16 episode of AEW Rampage.
Speaking about injuries in AEW and working through them, Page said he’s going to take care of himself first.
“[There are] actually certain protocols that AEW sets to keep us safe. I’m the type that if I’m hurt, guess what? The match stops, I really don’t care,” Page said. “There is not [an] audience member in the crowd that means more to me than my daughter, my son and my wife. So if I think it’s a serious injury, then I’ll definitely just count out.”
AEW is set to make its debut in Canada on Wednesday with AEW Dynamite. Page is not currently scheduled to wrestle on the show.
