Eric Young Wins Gauntlet For The Gold, Will Challenge For IMPACT World Title At Slammiversary 2022
The main event of IMPACT Slammiversary is set!
The May 11 episode of IMPACT Wrestling was headlined by a Gauntlet for the Gold match. The winner of the 20-Man bout would earn a shot at Josh Alexander’s IMPACT World Title on June 19 at Slammiversary.
The final two men in the match were Chris Sabin and Eric Young, a fitting finish for a match meant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of IMPACT. After hitting a piledriver, it was Young who would emerge victoriously and book his spot in the main event of Slammiversary.
