Eric Bischoff Reflects On Scott Hall, JBL Talks Potential Return, Young Rock Viewership | Fight Size

Here is your fight size update for Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

– Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Eric Bischoff reflected on the life and career of Scott Hall.

“Scott’s performance distinguished him well above and beyond anyone else,” Bischoff says. “He understood the psychology of a story better than anyone I’ve ever spent time with creatively.

“Scott was capable of doing the smallest gesture and making it mean so much. Whether that was a hand gesture or a look or a pause, he mastered the art of nuanced storytelling.”

– John Bradshaw Layfield recently spoke with Metro in the UK about a potential return to the ring, the former WWE Champion said he’s open to the idea but it has to be for a program that is worthwhile.

“If I thought I could do something that would be worth seeing, yes, and that’s really it, I’m not worried about my health, I’m not worried about getting into shape,” said JBL.

“I can do that. I just wanna be able to put out something people wanna see. I don’t wanna go out there and do something and people go, “Gah that was terrible”. It really is something – if I thought I could do something that people would be interested in and enjoy, then yeah, of course.”

– Diamond Dallas Page also reflected on the career of Scott Hall during the most recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bro Show.

“There’s only one Razor Ramon. There’s only one Scott Hall. He was an original. He was an eight-year overnight success. Because until someone finally believed in him and he felt comfortable in that gimmick, and when that happened, it was magic. And it was magic at such a level! Man, there are so many people who are crushed still. It’s going to be all over the internet for a while,” Page said.

– David Dastmalchian spoke about working with Batista and John Cena in an interview with ComingSoon’s Tyler Treese.

It is. Of course, it is. It’s insane. It’s like, oh my God. I just wanna totally like throw down a Batista bomb when I’m hanging out with like, I wanna like, but you try to be cool. You know, I always try to be cool when I’m around people who I am in awe of. It happens to me so regularly now. I’ve been getting to work on so many cool projects with so many cool people that, all of a sudden I’m standing there having to be professional and perform with someone who I’m a big fan of, and it’s hard, it’s stressful, but I do my best to just do the best work I can possibly do. Then if the right time presents itself, that we can talk about like other things they’ve done or things that I’m a fan of theirs, then I just try to be chill about it. Because I see people, Dave, John, you name it. So many of the people I’ve gotten to work with, and anywhere they go, they’re just inundated and surrounded by fans. So I try to, when they’re at work, try to be as chill as possible. So they don’t have yet another fanboy, which I am, trying to take selfies with them, which I do.
