Eric Bischoff Officiated Miz And Maryse’s Vow Renewal Which Ended In A ‘Brood Bath’ Courtesy Of Edge
Edge has finally had an opportunity to ruin a wedding in WWE history.
At some point, WWE Superstars have got to learn not to let Edge anywhere near a wedding ceremony. After having two WWE weddings of his own ruined, Edge finally got a dose of payback and was on the other end of a ruined wedding for once.
In 2005, Edge attempted to marry Lita, that wedding ceremony ended when Kane crashed the party.
In 2008, he was successfully married to Vickie Guerrero but when they had a ceremony out in the rain, Triple H quickly ruined that by having footage of Edge cheating on Vickie with Alicia Fox.
Finally, in 2021, Edge got his own opportunity to ruin a wedding.
On Monday, December 27, 2021, Miz and Maryse attempted, the darn fools, to renew their wedding vows in the ring. The Miz chose Eric Bischoff to officiate the ceremony, which is another call back to an infamous WWE commitment ceremony, the commitment ceremony of Billy and Chuck in 2002, and Miz even stumbled on his way to the ring.
Eventually, Miz and Maryse were able to renew their wedding vows but of course, when it was time for somebody to object, Edge was quick to come out and embracingly the spirit of 1999, Edge returned to his origins in The Brood and gave the bride and groom a Brood Bath, formerly known as a bloodbath, in order to officially ruin the white wedding and send one last message before WWE Day 1 this Saturday.
