Elias: “I Would Love To Do A Performance In The Elimination Chamber”
One of RAW's rising stars is heading into his first Elimination Chamber match tomorrow.
Formerly known as "The Drifter", Elias spoke with The Wrap ahead of WWE's 'Elimination Chamber' PPV this Sunday. Elias will be joining: Braun Strowman, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins & The Miz inside of the structure as he looks to continue showing the world what "WWE" truly stands for. Elias has earned himself the right to be the last man released from his pod in the chamber match and he stated that he would love to put on a musical performance while the other five men are tearing one another apart.
“I would love to do a performance in the Elimination Chamber, but I have no idea what I am walking into yet. The way [WWE] goes is kind of day-to-day and you show up and you kind of make the best of what you’ve got". He added. "I don’t know yet, man, If that’s the case, if I have my guitar and I’m able to do my songs, I absolutely will create a few songs for the Chamber.”
On a weekly basis, Elias seemingly has WWE crowds in the palm of his hands as they either boo or cheer him, or sometimes they do both. Elias would reveal that although he makes it seem easy to get those reactions, he still has to prepare a full song before stepping into the ring.
“I always have a full song prepared, because I cannot bank on the crowd booing anything. I could go out there and tell them to shut their mouths and listen to my song; there’s always a chance they could shut their mouths and listen to my song.”
WWE's modern-day Bob Dylan does not just keep his guitar on the wayside. When Elias is in trouble, or needs to find in easy out, he pulls out the guitar and breaks it over his opponent. He has done this countless times and he was asked does he ever get fed up with paying for a new guitar every time he breaks the previous one.
“When you’re at the level that I’m at, at ‘Monday Night Raw’, you don’t gotta worry about things like that."
As noted, Elias will hope to deliver the performance of a lifetime inside the Elimination Chamber. We will have full coverage of the event and a post-show podcast, right here on Fightful.com
