Elayna Black vs. Joey Janela No Longer Happening On GCW Fight Forever Stream, All Parties React
Easy come, easy go.
It was recently announced after several days of going back and forth on Twitter that Elayna Black was set to face Joey Janela at WRLD on GCW Part 3 during the GCW Fight Forever stream taking place during the course of Royal Rumble weekend.
That match is now off.
Commenting on the situation on Twitter in a now-deleted tweet, GCW said that after all parties had previously agreed, the match could no longer take place but they were working on a suitable replacement.
Elayna Black recently signed to WWE and is competing in NXT as Cora Jade. In her statement released on Twitter, she encouraged fans to continue supporting the event, despite her not being able to appear.
So sorry to all the fans @GCWrestling_ & @JANELABABY for not being able to make the show. Some things kinda came up — BUT it’s still gonna be a sick show so please watch and continue to donate if possible! #FightForever —
