Eight-Man Tag, 20-Man Battle Royale Added To AEW Worlds End
More matches added to AEW Worlds End.
AEW announced that Chris Jericho, Sting, Darby Allin, & Sammy Guevara will team up to face Ricky Starks, Big Bill, Powerhouse Hobbs, & Kyle Fletcher at AEW Worlds End.
Jericho was originally scheduled to team with Kenny Omega to challenge Starks & Hobbs for the AEW Tag Team Titles at the event, but Omega was diagnosed with diverticulitis and is out indefinitely.
Guevara returned on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, but was taken out by The Don Callis Family after he shoved Callis. Jericho made the save. Starks & Hobbs attacked Guevara and Jericho, leading to Allin’s return alongside Sting.
Plus, a 20-man battle royale will take place during the Zero Hour pre-show where the winner will receive a shot at the AEW TNT Championship, which is currently held by Christian Cage.
