Edge Says He And Randy Orton Will Main Event WrestleMania, Not Reigns vs. Goldberg; Sasha Banks Responds
On Wednesday WWE announced that WrestleMania 36 will be a two-night event beginning on Saturday, Apr. 4 and concluding on Sunday, Apr. 5.
With two nights of action, two main event spots are now up for grabs. WWE had been pushing Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title as the main event, although Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title was referred to as a “main event” as well.
And Roman believes one of the main event spots will definitely go to him.
Two nights of @WrestleMania. @WWE’s biggest event just got BIGGER. One of those nights belongs to the #BigDog… Who will claim the other?
Guess we’ll see. #MainEvent https://t.co/TpNnHCxrrx

Edge, who may or may not be competing on the same night as Roman, believes he’ll be in the main event regardless of which night he’s on.
Aw that’s cute Big Pup. But whether you realize it or not, if @RandyOrton has the nads to accept my challenge for #WrestleMania we’ve already marked our territory on what the real main event is. After 9 years the wolf is back in the yard. #LastManStanding #MainMainEvent https://t.co/MZ4umW1NYB

Meanwhile, Sasha Banks, who doesn’t currently have a match, is fine if she serves as the main event on the pre-show.
That’s cute Mr. Wolf and Mr. Dog. But this Panther will be main eventing the pre show. I left my mark at the @WWEPC Just ask the eagle @itsBayleyWWE She was there for 5 years so technically that’s her land and she wants you off her yard! #TheMainEventbeforeTheMainEvent https://t.co/cc64UFGEya

WWE has not made an announcement on which matches will headline each night. Matches were listed for specific nights on WWE.com, though that has changed with all matches being listed for Saturday.
