Eddie Kingston Says It’s ‘On Sight’ With Chris Jericho, Jade Cargill’s Baddies | AEW Fight Size

Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

– After defeating Christian Cage, Adam Cole was confronted by Hangman Page, with the two men agreeing to have an AEW Championship Texas Death Match on April 15 episode of Rampage. 

– Samoa Joe won his debut match in AEW, defeating Max Caster to qualify for the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. After the bout, Jay Lethal challenged him to a match next week with Sonjay Dutt promising a present Joe will never forget. 

– With MJF on commentary, Wardlow barged into the building tonight causing enough of a commotion during Shawn Spears’ match to help Capt. Shawn Dean pick up the win.

– After attacking the Jericho Appreciation Society backstage earlier in the day, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz came out and challenged Jericho’s crew to a six-man tag match next week. They also said that if they see them before then, they’ll take them out on sight. 

– Jade Cargill introduced her baddies section and then said that if Marina Shafir is known as The Problem, then she’s The Problem Solver.

– Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated The Butcher and The Blade in a Tables Match. Jeff ended the match with a Swanton Bomb off the top of a ladder on the outside of the ring. The brothers were confronted by the AFO after the bell but Sting fought them off with his bat.

– Hikaru Shida defeated Julia Hart to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Serena Deeb tried to attack her after the bell, but Shida anticipated where she’d be coming from and was able to back her off with a kendo stick. 

– Swerve Strickland was attacked backstage by Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks. It was Keith Lee who came to his aid, sending Hobbs crashing through a wall and into the locker room.

– In the main event, FTR defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AAA and ROH Tag Team Titles.
