Eddie Kingston Says He’s Been Dealing With A Hernia Since September, Likely Needs Surgery
Eddie Kingston gives an update on his status.
Fans last saw Eddie Kingston at ROH Supercard of Honor when he lost to Claudio Castagnoli and failed to capture the ROH World Championship.
Speaking on Thursday’s ROH TV, Kingston revealed that he went into the match with a hernia injury, which he’s been dealing with since September, and he likely needs surgery. It is unknown how long he will be out of action.
Kingston was scheduled to wrestle for NJPW at Collision in Philadelphia, but was pulled due to injury and replaced by Orange Cassidy.

Kingston said Claudio and his aggressiveness were the reasons for the injury. He also reflected on his bout with Claudio, saying he didn’t stick to the gameplan and turned back into a fighter during the bout.
Kingston noted he’s still under AEW contract even though he’s been working for ROH.
Fightful will provide an update on Kingston when more is known. We wish him the best in his recovery.
