Eddie Kingston: I Respect Daniel Garcia, I Don’t Respect His Choices

Eddie Kingston has a message for Daniel Garcia after their AEW Continental Classic matchup on AEW Collision.

Eddie Kingston does not respect Daniel Garcia’s choices.

On Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, the Blue League rolled on in the AEW Continental Classic as Eddie Kingston went one on one with Daniel Garcia in singles action. With both men looking for a win in the tournament and a crucial three points, it was an incredibly physical matchup that ended when Eddie landed his patented spinning backfist on Garcia’s jaw, collapsing onto the former Ring Of Honor Pure champion for the winning pinfall.

After the matchup, AEW cameras caught up with Kingston backstage where he would cut a promo where he would try to get through to Garcia, noting Garcia’s fire and grit in their battle.

“You guys want to talk after the matches but this was this was a hard one. Dog. I respect Danny. I don’t respect his choices. But what he showed me tonight was the fire and the grit that I saw before he went with Jericho and everybody. You know what I’m saying and I don’t know, man, that kid took me, took me to my limit. Humble in victory, humble in defeat, I’m humble, my knee hurts and uh. I got to move on, but Danny really showed me something tonight and I just hope he doesn’t fall into what the other young uns have fallen into. Garcia. I’m going to talk to you straight up here. Do not fall for what everyone else does. Be your own man. Stand on your own two feet. You do not need anybody or anyone. Andrade you’re next. It’s a must win for those who don’t know and I’ll handle that when it’s time.”

If Kingston should defeat Andrade on next Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision, he will advance to the Blue League finals with 9 points and tiebreaker victories over both Andrade and Claudio Castagnoli.
