Eddie Kingston And Daniel Garcia Pick Up Wins, Athena Wears Bane Gear | ROH Final Battle Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following ROH Final Battle 2023. 

– Ahead of their major match in the AEW Continental Classic Tournament, Eddie Kingston and Daniel Garcia both picked up major singles victories. Kingston, who did not have a match until he requested one from Tony Khan during the Zero Hour, defeated Anthony Henry.

Meanwhile, on the Zero Hour, Daniel Garcia earned an elusive singles victory by defeating Blake Christian.

– Athena headlined another ROH pay-per-view, this time she defeated her minion Billie Starkz. After the match, Starkz, Athena, and Lexy Nair appeared to be back on the same page. During her entrance, Athena paid tribute to Batman villain Bane wearing his mask and having a Venom backpack in place of her normal angel wings. 

– Bryan Keith had an eventful evening. He defeated Jack Cartwheel on the Zero Hour. That Victory earned him a spot in the Ring of Honor World Television Championship Survival Of The Fittest Match. While he did not win the ROH World Television Championship, Keith would gain more notoriety and now has the opportunity to challenge Orange Cassidy for the International Championship on the December 16 AEW Collision. 

– Kyle Fletcher won the ROH Television Championship at ROH Final Battle, winning the six-man Survival of the Fittest. Learn more here.

– Keith Lee defeated Shane Taylor and afterward, both men appeared to put their issues behind them. 

– Ethan Page defeated Tony Nese in an I Quit Match. This match saw an appearance by Mark Henry, who attempted to make sure that Mark Sterling would not get involved. However, when Sterling did eventually get involved, Scorpio Sky came out to help his former Men of the Year tag team partner. Learn more here

– Wheeler Yuta was able to successfully defend his Ring of Honor Pure Title against Tom Lawlor. After the match, Yuta hit a low blow on Lawlor but before he could continue his attack, HOOK made the save. Unfortunately for HOOK, he also ate a low blow. 

– Mark Briscoe and FTR defeated Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli in a hellacious match to honor the memory of Jay Briscoe. The match almost ended by double countdown before being restarted at the request of Mark Briscoe. 

– Additionally, Nyla Rose and Taya Valkyrie picked up respective victories over Vertvixen and Jazmin Allure. 

– Ross and Marshall Von Erich picked up their first tag team victory in Ring of Honor over The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) on the Zero Hour. They were also fortunate enough to come out to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Learn more here
