Eddie Edwards Bests W. Morrissey, Missy Hyatt Decks Sam Beale | IMPACT Fight Size

Here is your post-IMPACT Homecoming fight size update.

– Matthew Rehwoldt was revealed as Deonna Purrazzo’s partner for the IMPACT Homecoming mixed tag team tournament. The Drama King’s arrival has been teased since Slammiversary earlier this month. He and Purrazzo would win their first-round match against Alisha and Hernandez.

– Petey Williams and Jordynne Grace were defeated by Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green. After the match, Williams was attacked by Steve Maclin. Backstage, Maclin reiterated his goal to capture the X Division Championship but said that he also has his sights set on Williams.

– Sam Beale was tasked with finding Brian Myers a partner for Homecoming and picked Missy Hyatt. Unfortunately for Brian, the legendary manager didn’t know she would be asked to wrestle. As a result, Rachael Ellering and Tommy Dreamer were able to exploit the numbers advantage and win the match.

– Decay’s Rosemary and Crazzy Steve were victorious over Tasha Steelz and Fallah Bahh in round one action.

– Deaner defeated Willie Mack via pinfall in one of the two non-tournament matches of the night.

– The Drama King was able to pin Matt Cardona, eliminating him and Chelsea Green from the Homecoming tournament.

– Missy Hyatt gave Sam Beale a lesson on who she is before laying him out with a smack across the face.

– Decay won their second-round match, defeating Tommy Dreamer and Rachael Ellering.

– Josh Alexander successfully retained his X Division Title in a match against Black Taurus.

– Deonna Purrazzo and Matthew Rehwoldt defeated Decay to be crowned the first-ever Homecoming King and Queen of IMPACT.

– Despite taking an enormous amount of punishment, Eddie Edwards was able to overcome W. Morrissey and hand him his first loss in IMPACT Wrestling.
