EC3 Talks Using Unique Tactics For Motivation, Returning To Louisiana Next Week, More
EC3 gives Louisiana a heads up about what’s coming next week.
The self-proclaimed “Top One Percent” of WWE, EC3 has arrived onto the main roster and has been regularly featured on Monday Night RAW over the past number of weeks. EC3, along with Lacey Evans, Lars Sullivan, Heavy Machinery and Nikki Cross are not brand-exclusive and are being “scouted by management” to see what brand they best fit on.
Throughout his time on the main roster, EC3 has appeared on “A Moment Of Bliss” with Alexa Bliss and defeated Dean Ambrose in a singles match on RAW. EC3 is working the live event loop with the RAW roster and ahead of next week’s RAW and SmackDown television taping in Louisiana, EC3 spoke with ‘NOLA.com’. It was in New Orleans that EC3 wrestled his first match for the NXT brand at TakeOver: New Orleans and he shared the motivational tools he uses to better himself as a sports-entertainer.
“I hate to steal a catchphrase from John (Cena), but never give up is a real thing. I never quit on something. If I’m spited in the past, I remember it. I hold onto it. It’s an angst. It drives me forward.” He continued, “If you ever stepped on my toe, cut me off in traffic, stole money from me or stole my cats, I hold a vendetta against you, and I do not quit until it is reciprocated.”
EC3 went on to talk about returning to Louisiana. Monday Night RAW will emanate from Lafayette while New Orleans plays host to SmackDown Live. EC3 joked about New Orleans being a city where one can find themselves in a unique set of circumstances but he will be avoiding those circumstances to keep his job.
“I’m not a saint. I’m a sports entertainer,” he said. “It’s a great atmosphere. It’s great fun, even if you have to catch a flight at 6 in the morning. New Orleans is always a city where you’re going to find yourself in a unique set of circumstances, and I’ll keep it safe, because I want to keep my job.”
The SmackDown brand returns to NOLA this upcoming Tuesday but before that is WWE’s ‘Elimination Chamber’ pay-per-view and to catch up on the storylines heading into Sunday’s show, check out Fightful’s RAW and SmackDown results articles by clicking on either of the highlighted show names.
