EC3 Becomes GFW Grand Champion

Global Force Wrestling is ushering in a new era….again, and a title changed hands on Thursday's Impact show.

Ethan Carter III defeated Moose to win the Grand Championship. He becomes only the second active member of the GFW roster to ever hold the title, as Aron Rex and Drew Galloway were previous champions.

Moose's reign was the longest ever, at 174 days. He broke his own 90 day record, and as of now is the only person to ever hold the title longer than a week. It's worth noting that both Rex and Galloway had longer reigns on television, with Rex's lasting two years.

EC3 adds to his accomplishments with the company. He's also a two-time TNA World Champion, won the 2016 World Title Series and Bound For Glory Playoffs, as well as the 2014 Joker's Wild gauntlet.
