‘Dynasty Wrestling’ Announces That Muhammad Hassan Will Be Returning To In-Ring Action Once Again

Hassan is back again.

For the first time in 13 years one of the most controversial characters in the history of WWE Muhammad Hassan returned to in-ring competition last month at 'Dynasty Wrestling's' "King Of Thrones" show

Hassan was involved in one of the most controversial segments to air on WWE television. On an episode of SmackDown in July of 2005 Hassan got on his knees on the aisle way and summoned five masked men dressed in camo pants and ski-masks to ambush his then-rival The Undertaker. Three days after the segment aired the London bombings took place where four Islamic men detonated three bombs aboard London Underground trains and one detonated on a double-decker bus. The segment with Hassan & The Undertaker was picked up by mainstream media and garnered tons of negative attention for WWE. It was revealed that in the same month that this segment took place, 'UPN', which aired SmackDown at the time pressured WWE to keep Hassan off of their network which in-turn he had to be removed from the show. At the 'Great American Bash' PPV Hassan lost his scheduled bout against The Undertaker with the stipulation that if Hassan lost the match he would leave the brand. Hassan was given a "Last Ride" through the stage which was to write his character off of television. In September of 2005, Hassan, real name Marc Copani was released from WWE and soon after he announced his retirement from the sport of pro wrestling.

Now, it appears that Hassan will be returning to the squared circle again as 'Dynasty Wrestling' announced over their official Facebook page that Muhammad Hassan will be wrestling for the promotion at their event on June 2nd at the 'Amsterdam Elks' in Amsterdam, New York.
