Dusty Cup Celebrations, Kyle O’Reilly Segment, Women’s Tag Bout, Set For 2/17 NXT; Match Pulled
The lineup has been set for Wednesday’s NXT.
WWE announced Kyle O’Reilly will kick-off the February 17 episode NXT as he is set to address Adam Cole’s betrayal from NXT TakeOver: Vengeance. Following Finn Balor’s victory over Pete Dunne in the main event, O’Reilly and Undisputed ERA saved Balor from an attack at the hands of Kings of NXT.
As Cole, O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Balor posed, Cole superkicked Balor and then landed another superkick on O’Reilly.
Plus, Dusty Cup winners MSK and Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez will hold their celebration victories after being crown Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Champions on Sunday at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.
Also, Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart will look to rebound from their loss in the Dusty Finals to Kai & Gonzalez against Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae in a semifinals rematch.
Finally, Johnny Gargano is searching for Austin Theory, who was captured by Dexter Lumis at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.
Santos Escobar vs. Karrion Kross was previously announced for Wednesday’s episode, but is no longer listed on WWE’s website. PWInsider reports the match has been pulled from the lineup.
