Drew McIntyre: None Of This ‘You’re My Wrestling Daughter’ BS. Only Freaks Do That. I’m Just Proud Of Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez made Drew McIntyre proud.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez interrupted CM Punk when he appeared on the September 17th episode of NXT. Though she initially discussed how she was a big fan of Punk, she said that she realized that she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan. Perez said that Punk just wanted to be part of the October 1 episode of NXT because he wanted a final moment of glory before McIntyre ended his career at WWE Bad Blood. She also said that Chicago would be her town, not Punk’s, after she beat Giulia.
McIntyre noticed Perez’s comments, as he took to Twitter/X to respond. He said that he wouldn’t do any of the “wrestling daughter BS,” as only freaks did that. However, he said that he was very proud of Roxanne Perez.
