Forbidden no more?
On May 28, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported WWE and NJPW have been in talks about WWE being the exclusive American partner of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The talks reportedly date back to late March/early April and would include WWE sending talent and allowing its top stars to work for NJPW.
With the news dominating the headlines and social media on Friday, many in WWE and NJPW decided to have some fun with the report.
