Drew McIntyre Gives Sheamus A Match For The WWE Championship
Sheamus got what he wanted.
After rekindling their friendship on-screen, Sheamus showed his true colors on WWE Raw when he laid out Drew McIntyre with a brogue kick in the opening segment. Sheamus and McIntyre aligned in recent months, reminiscing over good times they’ve had through the years and Sheamus helping McIntyre find himself again by gifting him the Claymore used during his entrance.
Later in the night, an upset McIntyre, with nearly a tear in his eye, said that if Sheamus wanted to throw away their friendship over the WWE Championship, then so be it. McIntyre stated he would give Sheamus a WWE Championship bout.
WWE did not confirm a date for the bout.
