Drew McIntyre To Challenge Seth Rollins For World Heavyweight Championship At WWE Crown Jewel
A title bout has been set for Crown Jewel.
In the opening segment of Monday Night Raw on October 9, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins adressed the crowd just days after escaping Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane. Rollins noted that he will continue to be a fighting champion for the fans before he was interuppted by Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre made his intentions quick, as he told Rollins he wanted a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre also noted that he wanted Rollins at 100% when the match happens, so he challenged him to a bout at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event. Rollins quickly agreed, which prompted McIntyre to walk away from the situation.

Moments later, Damian Priest attacked Rollins from behind and planted him with a chokeslam. Dominik Mysterio ran out to hand Priest his Money In The Bank briefcase, but McIntyre stopped him and tossed the briefcase into the stage.
