Drew McIntyre Calls Upon Triple H To Let Him Wrestle In NXT U.K. At Least Once

McIntyre wants to compete for NXT U.K.

WWE’s NXT U.K. brand is continuously growing and the stars of the brand are spotlighted on the weekly NXT U.K. show on the WWE Network and they were given the main stage this past January as the brand put on their very first TakeOver event in Blackpool, England that was headlined by Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey and featured the WWE debut of the current United Kingdom Champion WALTER.

Also appearing on that show was Finn Balor as he defeated Jordan Devlin. Another main roster star who hails from overseas that would like to make an appearance in NXT U.K. is “The Scottish Terminator” Drew McIntyre. McIntyre expressed those thoughts during a recent interview with talkSPORT and jokingly stated that he has harassed Triple H about the idea of him competing for the brand.

“Yeah. I don’t just think about it, I harass Triple H.” McIntyre laughed. “We fit it into the schedule, I’ll be there so I’m gonna call him out on this: Let me go to NXT U.K., just for a day, a few hours. I never sleep. I do this all the time. I might as well fly in and do a show and fly back.”

Both Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor were in action at Money In The Bank and to get a recap of that pay-per-view, head over to Fightful’s “podcasts” section.
