Drew Gulak Files Trademark On ‘Catchpoint’

Drew Gulak, via Catchpoint Incorporated, filed to trademark ‘Catchpoint’ on Dec. 27. While Gulak filed for the trademark under Catchpoint Incorporated, which is a company started by him and his wife in 2018, Gulak’s signature is on the application.

The following description is listed for the trademark:

Professional wrestling entertainment events; clothing; wrestling. FIRST USE: 20150308. FIRST USE IN COMMERCE: 20150308

Catch Point was the name of the stable used by Gulak in EVOLVE. The stable lasted from 2015 to 2018 and featured members such as Matt Riddle, TJP, Stokely Hathaway (Malcolm Bivens), Dominic Garrini, Jaka, Fred Yehi, Tracy Williams, and Chris Dickinson. Riddle and Gulak did the Catch Point handshake after their February 2019 NXT bout. Riddle and Gulak also squared off on the EVOLVE 10th Anniversary show, which aired on WWE Network.

It is unknown if the stable will be making their way to WWE television. Gulak has made various appearances on WWE SmackDown since the brand moved to Fox, bringing back his powerpoint gimmick.
