Drew Gulak Captures The WWE Cruiserweight Championship At Stomping Grounds
The era of Gulak has begun.
Drew Gulak is a 205 Live original and after three years on the brand, the self-proclaimed best submission wrestler in WWE has captured the Cruiserweight Championship. Drew Gulak emerged victorious from a Triple-Threat match involving Akira Tozawa and the prior champion Tony Nese.

Gulak, Nese and Tozawa both tried to eliminate one man from the fray so it came down to a one-on-one situation. The final sequence of that aforementioned sentence came when Nese was removed from the picture and Gulak was able to grab the upper hand and hit his “Torture Rack” finishing maneuver on Akira Tozawa to capture his first title in WWE.
