Dominik Mysterio On Potentially Reaching 25 Years With WWE: I’m 18 Years In, I Just Need Seven More

Dominik Mysterio says he’s well on his way to 25 years with WWE.

Dominik Mysterio says he’s well on his way to 25 years with WWE.

On the August 23 edition of WWE’s The Bump, WWE Hall of Famer Edge named Dominik as a young star who could eventually reach 25 years with WWE. Edge just completed the milestone himself, so the compliment carried plenty of weight, given Edge’s remarkable career.

Speaking on the August 30 episode of WWE’s The Bump, Dominik was asked to respond to Edge’s comments. He stated that he’s 18 years in, so he’s only seven years away from reaching his 25th anniversary with WWE.

“He was there for my first match in front of a live crowd. He walked me through it, he helped me out. He also started the Judgment Day. But hearing all of this doesn’t really change anything. I think he even forgot, I’m already 18 years in. I started in ‘05. So give me seven more years for my 25-year anniversary,” Mysterio said.

As Dominik noted, he made his WWE debut in 2005, when he played a vital role in the feud between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. Dominik made some appearances in 2019 before he fully joined the company in 2020; he made his in-ring debut at WWE SummerSlam 2020. Since then, he has won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and he has competed at WrestleMania.

Dominik currently holds the NXT North American Championship, and he is featured alongside Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor in The Judgment Day.

Logan Paul recently pitched a potential tag team where he would join forces with Dominik Mysterio. Click here to see what he had to say.
