Dominik Mysterio Plays Guest Referee, No DQ Match, More Set For 9/5 WWE NXT

In addition to the previously announced return of Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo and Tiffany Stratton defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Kiana James, more segments have been added to the September 5 episode of WWE NXT.

The Global Heritage Invitational Tournament will continue. On August 29, Joe Coffey and Buttch earned points in their respective blocks. Check out the full standings of the tournament here

Additionally, come Tuesday, Von Wagner looks to finish things with Bron Breakker once and for all as they meet in a match with No Disqualifications.

Also added to the card for September 5 is a match that was slated for August 29 as Tyler Bate looks to take on the big Dabba-Kato. It may be true at first glance that Dabba-Kato is big while Tyler Bate is not, but what Bate lacks in stature, he makes up for in in-ring acumen.

Plus, Dominik Mysterio returns to WWE NXT to be the special referee and a match between Mustafa Ali and Dragon Lee. The winner of this match will go on to face Mysterio for the NXT North American championship at NXT No Mercy.

Rounding out the card so far, Ilja Dragunov will take on Oro Mensah. Mensah and Meta-Four interrupted the Mad Dragon while he was speaking on August 29, and now Dragunov will look to beat some respect into Mensah.
