Dominik Mysterio: I Don’t Think I’ll Ever Wear A Mask On A Full-Time Basis, I Got A Hell Of A Smile

Dominik Mysterio doesn’t plan on wearing a mask.

During the early days of his run in WWE, fans speculated that Dominik Mysterio would eventually start wearing a luchad mask just like his father, Rey Mysterio.

Fast forward to 2024, where Mysterio has yet to put on a lucha mask of his own and if he has it his way, he ever doesn’t plan on wearing one on a full-time basis.

“You know, I feel like I deserved the mask from the beginning.” Dominik Mysterio said while speaking with The Ringer Wrestling Show for a new interview. “It’s the tradition. I should have wrestled Seth in a mask at SummerSlam, but at the end of the day, I’m too good looking. I got to show off the luscious mullet. I don’t think I’ll ever actually wear the mask full time, unless I lost a bet or my life depended on it to survive or it gave me magic powers or something. I would never actually cover this. I got a hell of a smile. I’m gonna take the Mysterio name to another level and I’m not gonna need a mask.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Dominik Mysterio talked about Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson getting involved in his match at WrestleMania XL. Learn more here.
