In a tweet, Dijak responded to a fan who noted that they want to see Dijak dethrone “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio as NXT North American Champion.
Dijak responded by stating that they could make it the second-ever Custody of Dominik Ladder Match, but this time, it would be a battle for the name.

Rey Mysterio previously defeated Eddie Guerrero in a Ladder Match for custody of Dominik at WWE SummerSlam 2005.
Dijak, previously known as T-Bar, competed as Dominik Dijakovic earlier in his career. He has not used the name since he left NXT in July 2020.
