Details Behind FTR Being Squashed By Big Bill And Ricky Starks On AEW Collision

FTR are no longer tag team champions, which have many questioning the status of FTR.

Big Bill and Ricky Starks beat FTR in less than five minutes, with Dax Harwood taking all of the offense. Considering the nature of the match, and that CM Punk is gone from the company, there were many wondering what this means for FTR.

FTR are signed to AEW until roughly 2027, and we’re told that things have been fine between them and AEW of late. Originally, FTR vs. Young Bucks had been discussed for AEW Full Gear, but doesn’t appear in the cards. Not only were FTR in favor of the finish, Dax Harwood actually pitched it.

There were some ears perked up regarding CMFTR being trademarked by Dax Harwood, but several sources pointed out that FTR could use the name outside of AEW or in New Japan Pro Wrestling. FTR have been on top of their trademarks since before leaving WWE.

There has been speculation that Cash could be injured after it appeared so in his match last week at WrestleDream and since he didn’t take offense. He did hurt his ribs, but there’s hope he won’t miss time.
