Deonna Purrazzo Captures Her Second Knockouts Championship At IMPACT Turning Point 2020

Deonna Purrazzo sits atop the Knockouts mountain once again.

In an intense No Disqualification Match at IMPACT Turning Point, Deonna Purrazzo captured her second IMPACT Knockouts Championship when she defeated Su Yung.

Su Yung had just captured the championship less than a month ago at IMPACT Bound For Glory. Purrazzo captured the gold by herself as Kimber Lee, who is usually by her side, was taken out by Su Yung earlier this week on IMPACT Wrestling.

Back in October, Josh Mathews confirmed that IMPACT Wrestling had signed Deonna Purrazzo to a long-term deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Purrazzo was released by WWE on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, and debuted in IMPACT in June, winning the Knockouts Championship for the first time at Slammiversary when she defeated Jordynne Grace.

Su Yung was the replacement for Kylie Rae, who was supposed to defeat Deonna Purrazzo at the event to capture the championship. Kylie has since retired from the industry. Learn more about that at this link.
