Dean Malenko Added To Starrcast II
That didn’t take long.
Less than 24 hours after it was reported that Dean Malenko would be leaving WWE, Starrcast announced that Malenko will be part of their Starrcast 2 festivities in May. Malenko had been with WWE since retiring in 2011, working as a backstage agent/producer. It was confirmed that he quit the company, but also suggested that WWE has begun the process of cycling out older road agents in favor of newer names.

Starrcast II has undergone some major changes this week as it was reported on Apr. 23 that WWE had pulled The Undertaker and Kurt Angle from their scheduled appearances. The next day it was announced that Kenta Kobashi had agreed to appear at the event and that Bret Hart and Tom Magee would reunite to discuss their lost 1986 bout.
