Dean Ambrose: A Lot Of Guys Have No Artistic Care For What They Do
Dean Ambrose breaks his silence. Sort of.
Former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose has made headlines recently after PW Torch broke the news that he would be leaving the company when his contract expires at the end of April. WWE would later confirm that Ambrose had decided not to renew his contract and would be exiting shortly after WrestleMania. Ambrose is reportedly leaving due to feeling unsatisfied creatively and having to do too many “hokey” segments during his recent heel turn.
Ambrose made a recent appearance on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins to discuss wrestling figures when he snuck in a couple of lines but creative satisfaction.
“You guys are like me. There’s a lot of people that are just here for money,” stated Ambrose. “They didn’t grow up watching it, they don’t care what they do, and have no artistic care for what they do. You guys are like me where (wrestling) is all we’ve ever loved.”
Ambrose reportedly turned down a five-year deal with a downside of seven-figures. Ambrose continues to fulfill his contractual obligations for the company, working on television and live events. He was defeated on Raw by EC3.
