Dean Ambrose Heard His Entrance Music For The First Time In The Ring
Dean Ambrose's music started to play before he realized it was his new entrance theme.
Dean Ambrose has been in WWE or one of its developmental promotions since 2011. During that time he has had several different entrance themes. On a recent episode of Talk is Jericho, Ambrose was asked if he had much input on his music. He admitted he had some input but he also gave a brief history of his different entrance themes.
"I scanned through a few different ones when I was at developmental and picked one or two. But when we did The Shield, we kind of told them what we were thinking and (Jim Johnston) wrote something. We did the voice overs for it with the 'Sierra, Hotel….' which is pretty cool," said Ambrose."When I got the music I've got now, I was in the ring one day, I was beating somebody up or running somebody off and they played this music. I had never heard it before I was like 'Do I have new music now? What the hell? I guess I do.' I like it," he continued.
Ambrose went on to say that his current entrance theme has a good "first four seconds" which he says is important. Host Chris Jericho agreed and compared it to Stone Cold Steve Austin's shattering glass sound. Also on the podcast was Jeff Hardy. The three wrestlers discussed many topics including Ambrose finding out last minute about his switch to Raw.
Dean Ambrose defends his WWE Intercontinental Championship on Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules. Fightful Wrestling will be providing live coverage and recapping podcast.
