DDT Pro Wrestling Cancels Wrestle Peter Pan 2020
DDT Pro Wrestling has officially canceled its Wrestle Peter Pan event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The event was scheduled for June 7 at the Saitama Super Arena. Kenny Omega was set to make an appearance at the event, though no match had been announced for the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
DDT put out the following statement on social media:
[Important Notice] Based on the spread of new coronavirus infection and other factors, we have decided to cancel the June 7 Saitama Super Arena Tournament. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers. The alternative schedule is currently being adjusted.

Wrestle Peter Pan is just the latest event to be canceled in Japan. NJPW has already canceled events through May 4, though they are continuing to pay staff and contracted talent. AJPW canceled the annual Champion Carnival tournament and NOAH has canceled events through May.
