Dax Harwood Isn’t Sure What The Future Holds For FTR, Is Excited For ‘One Last Run’

Dax Harwood looks down the road at FTR’s future, admitting that he has no idea what the next few years will hold for the team.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, FTR, take pride in being a part of the revival and renewed interest in tag team wrestling. Since 2014, they have consistently tried to elevate tag team wrestling, building a resume that is unmatched in modern history as they went along. Currently, FTR is the only tag team to have ever held the WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, AEW, Ring of Honor, IWGP Heavyweight, and AAA Lucha Libre Tag Team Championships. The latter three championships are still in their possession.

Taking  Instagram, Dax Harwood reflected on the team’s journey, saying he can’t wait for “One Last Run”

From Instagram:

All we’ve ever wanted to do in life was be a professional wrestler. Height, body-type, accent, life situations, we had all of it against us. Now, we leave a body of work I think we can be proud of.

When we started this journey in 2014, we tried to make sure we were always different from the everyone else wrestling currently. We also wanted to work so hard that eventually we’d go down as one of the greatest tag teams to ever do it. I’m not sure if we have reached that, but we’ll damn sure keep trying.

Thank y’all for going on this journey with us. Not sure where the next few years will take us, but I can’t wait for One Last Run.

Top Guys, out.

Despite being the number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championships for several months, Swerve in our Glory, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, recently defeated FTR to earn a shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles at November’s Full Gear 2022 event. Fans can check out the full card for that event at this link.

While that is one setback, Dax Harwood can also hang his hat on the recent match FTR had with Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis. Dax called that match one of the best he’s ever had. Read more here.
