Finlay, who was scheduled to face off with Hirooki Goto in the quarter finals of the tournament, was pulled from NJPW’s show in Nagoya on Saturday due to illness, as announced by New Japan Pro Wrestling on social media. Finlay will now be eliminated from the tournament, with Goto advancing to the semi finals. The only further status given on Finlay’s illness is that he underwent evaluation at a local hospital.
