David Finlay Defeats Nic Nemeth To Become NJPW Global Heavyweight Champion At Dontaku Night 2
David Finlay has captured the NJPW Global Heavyweight Title.
David Finlay is once again NJPW Global Heavyweight Champion.
At NJPW Dontaku night two, Nic Nemeth put his NJPW Global Heavyweight Championship on the line against the man who he defeated to win the title.
In their rematch, Finlay would end up walking away the victor from the matchup, becoming a two time NJPW Global Champion.

Nemeth held the championship for 71 days, retaining the title successfully in a single defense during his reign.
Finlay originally captured the title to become it’s first champion back at Wrestle Kingdom 18 where he would defeat Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
