David Arquette Talks About The Pain He Has Put His Body Through Since Returning To Wrestling

David Arquette is going strong.

Actor, film director, producer and professional wrestler David Arquette has been back in the pro wrestling game for four months now. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion made his return to the ring this past July for the ‘Championship Wrestling From Hollywood’ promotion and has been making the rounds on the independent scene since then.

Arquette will be back in action tonight for the ‘Border City Wrestling’ promotion which is based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and is owned by IMPACT Wrestling Co-V.P. Scott D’Amore. To promote the 25th anniversary show for the promotion tonight, Arquette spoke with the ‘Windsor Star’ and as the conversation began Arquette talked about the pain that he has put his body through since returning to the squared circle.

“I broke three ribs,” said Arquette. “I took a knee to the face, and the whole side of my face swelled up and I got a black eye. Yah, it’s been intense. Then there’s just little things. I’ve got water on my elbow right now. Your knees are constantly aching, your back is constantly aching. I’ve got two fingers that feel like they can’t close. You definitely have to love it to do it.”

During this interview David Arquette stated that being flipped over by Randy Orton during an episode of RAW was one of his favorite wrestling career highlights. To read the full interview with Arquette and the comments from Scott D’Amore, click here.
