Dave Bautista (Batista) Started Collecting Vintage Lunch Boxes When He Was Injured In 2003
Dave Batista (Batista) was sidelined for the majority of 2003 with a torn triceps. Evolution had just started up, and the injury put Batista at home while Triple H, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair continued to carry the banner on television.
While he was sidelined, Batista took up a new hobby. Collecting lunch boxes.
“The ET (lunch box) was the first lunch box that started the collection. 2003, I was injured. I was in WWE and I got injured. I was at home, had a lot of time and that’s when I discovered eBay. I was surfing a lot and that’s when I really started collecting,” he told Complex.
Batista has lunchboxes from Fat Albert, Star Trek, Tarzan, Popeye, and more.
Batista stars in “The Killer’s Game,” which is now in theaters. While making the media rounds, he spoke on still being in WWE if he wasn’t acting. Fans can find his full comments by clicking here.
