Dark Side Of The Ring Viewership For FMW Episode Drops From Chris Kanyon Episode
The numbers are in for Dark Side of the Ring.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomic reports the September 30 episode of Dark Side of the Ring drew 126,000 viewers. This number is down from the 214,000 viewers the show drew the prior week.
Thursday’s episode focused on Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling and Atsushi Onita. The episode was titled “Blood & Wire: Onita’s FMW.” Onita recently launched FMW-E, which focuses on explosion matches. The promotion held its first event on July 4.
Last Thursday’s episode focused on the life and career of Chris Kanyon.
The September 30 episode drew a 0.04 rating (51,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is down from the previous week. The Kanyon episode drew a 0.07 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
Dark Side of the Ring finished 124th among cable originals on Thursday, September 30.
Dark Side of the Ring airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on VICE TV. The next episode is entitled “Bikers, Bombs & Bedlam Johnny K9” and focuses on Ion Croitoru.
