Darby Allin Refuses To Become An Afterthought: ‘Mark My Words, I Will Main Event A Pay-Per-View’

Darby Allin can’t stand the thought of being an afterthought in All Elite Wrestling.

Darby Allin has an aura about him that has kept him at the forefront of AEW television for the last year. However, when it comes to pay-per-views, Darby has yet to be placed in a featured singles match near the top of the card.

Venting his frustrations on Twitter after losing the Casino Battle Royale in dramatic fashion, Darby Allin put out his own mission statement, he will main event a pay-per-view.

Although Darby has yet to headline a pay-per-view, he will forever be the first man to ever challenge for the AEW Championship when he faced Chris Jericho in a Philadelphia Street Fight on the third episode of Dynamite ever. Darby also has the distinction of being the only man to challenge both Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho for the coveted “pretty platinum” in AEW and also challenge Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship.

Also, Darby has been featured in vignettes that showcase his personality. Most notably, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk was featured in one of the vignettes.
