Daniel Bryan’s Odds Of Winning The WWE Royal Rumble Shoot Up

Daniel Bryan's odds of winning the Royal Rumble are shooting up, despite there being no real reason why.

Paddy Power's latest standings have him tied with Dolph Ziggler in third place with 4/1 odds. He wasn't even in the top ten a few weeks ago, but he has continued to gain momentum to the top since that time. Shinsuke Nakamura continues to have the best odds of winning the Royal Rumble currently, as he has 6/4 odds.

It should be noted that Daniel Bryan is still not cleared to compete in the WWE. Nothing has changed in that regard, so why his odds are shooting up is a mystery. The odds aren't finalized yet — the smart money for last year's winner, Randy Orton, didn't come in until shortly before the show started.

Here is the current top ten list Paddy Power has for Royal Rumble odds:

1. Shinsuke Nakamura (6/4)

2. Roman Reigns (5/2)

3. Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler (4/1)

5. John Cena (9/2)

6. Braun Strowman (11/2)

7. Finn Balor (7/1)

8. Randy Orton and Baron Corbin (10/1)

10. Seth Rollins (16/1)

Rhyno currently holds the dubious record of being the most realistic longshot of winning the Rumble with 250/1 odds. If we include non-realistic, Barack Obama has a 1000/1 shot.
