Daniel Bryan Has A Bruised Kidney Following Attack By Jey Uso
Daniel Bryan is banged up.
In the finale to last night’s Friday Night SmackDown, Jey Uso declared his allegiance to Roman Reigns with a vicious attack on Daniel Bryan following a match between Bryan and himself for a right to join Team SmackDown on Survivor Series.
It was later revealed in a video on WWE social media accounts that the attack did not stop when the show went off the air. Jey Uso would continue to assault Daniel Bryan even after Bryan had been stretchered, leading Daniel Bryan to be transferred to a local medical facility where he would be evaluated and later released to go home and heal a bruised kidney and multiple contusions.
Following his match with Jey Uso on Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan was evaluated in the WWE trainer’s room, complaining of back and lower abdominal pain.
WWE Medical recommended Bryan be transported to a local medical facility where multiple imaging tests were performed and revealed a bruised kidney and multiple strains and contusions throughout his thoracic and lumbar spine.
Bryan was released from the facility last night and is now convalescing at home.
