Dan Lambert Names Favorite Managers, Jacob Fatu On The Bloodline, New Rousey Series | Fight Size

Here is your fight size update for Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Speaking with James Lynch of My MMA News, Dan Lambert named Bobby Heenan and Jim Cornette as his influences.

“I know I’m a fan of a lot of the old school managers Bobby Heenan, you know probably one of the greatest managers of all time along with Jim Cornette. So, if that comparison ever was made that’d be a compliment.”

He added, “I’m a mark you know, I’ve been a fan a long time so I’m backstage and I’m looking at Jake Roberts and Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko walking around his agents and then some of the big-name wrestlers that they have that I’ve been a fan of for a long time. So it’s just really cool for me I know there’s a group of people out there of MMA people that hate pro wrestling and pro wrestling people that hate MMA. I think it comes down to a respect issue and some people don’t feel like they’re respected by the other group and that that leads to the feelings which I get. I think if you go in there and you show them respect, you know, they show it to you and I think they appreciate that.”

In a recent interview with Wrestling Inc. Jacob Fatu talked his relationship with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

“You know what, we haven’t, but I was with Jey a couple of weeks ago. But when we do talk, though, even if it’s just seeing each other on the road, or sometimes in an airport or whatever it is, they know the work they doing, you know. We just fill it. It’s weird, when you’re family like that and you’re really tapped in with your family, you just kind of fill it, plus our family is so big too where word gets around anyways. But when it is time to sit down at that table and for us to really talk about what’s going on with them on that side, it’s gonna be something good for us and also for our kids as well.”
