Damian Priest Retains World Heavyweight Title Over Jey Uso At WWE Backlash Thanks To Judgment Day
Priest retains over Jey Uso.
Whether he wanted it or not, Judgment Day helped Damian Priest retain the World Heavyweight Championship over Jey Uso at WWE Backlash. Still, after the match, Priest made sure to remind JD McDonagh and Finn Balor of exactly who was in charge.
JD McDonagh was out first during the championship match and proved to be useful a number of times, even helping put Priest’s foot on the bottom rope when it appeared that Jey Uso had won the match off of an Uso Splash.
Finn Balor would also run in and try to attack Uso. In the end, the distractions helped Priest hit an avalanche South of Heaven for the victory.

After the match, the other members of Judgment Day tried to attack Uso but Damian Priest quickly put a stop to it because he did not order them to do so and then demanded that they stand beside him as he celebrated.
