Dabba-Kato Returns On 8/15 WWE NXT
Dabba-Kato has returned to WWE NXT.
Dabba-Kato has returned to WWE NXT.
A vigentte on the August 15 episode of WWE NXT announced that Dabba-Kato, formerly known as Babatunde, would be returning soon to WWE NXT. Dabba-Kato hadn’t been on TV since June 13, when he lost to Axiom & SCRYPTS in a Handicap Match.
Fans wouldn’t have to wait long for the powerhouse to make his return. Later in the show, Dabba-Kato crashed a singles match between Tyler Bate and Joe Coffey. He attacked both men, so the bout ended in a no contest. Coffey managed to escape, but Dabba-Kato chokeslammed Bate. Dabba-Kato then stood tall over the former NXT United Kingdom Champion.

Dabba-Kato hasn’t won a match since May 23, when he defeated Axiom in singles competition.
Kato was previously known as Babatunde and would be repackaged as Commander Azeez, helping Apollo Crews beat Big E Langston for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 37. As Babatunde, he would spend time in EVOLVE before that brand closed its doors.
